Brad Johnson
Executive Director
Brad is a project leader and consultant with over twenty years of professional experience. He is specialized in economic and financial analyses to support data-driven conclusions. He has led project teams involving members with diverse areas of subject expertise and addressing issues across a wide variety of commercial industries and public sector concerns. He leads Humanitae Advisors as Executive Director to help the donor community to reach their funding goals by providing exceptional and professional intellectual property stewardship and fiscal sponsorship services.

Sarah Yoshi Anderson
Project Coordinator
Sarah brings over 15 years of experience in administrative, project, and IT positions from a variety of industries. She has worked at construction, safety, and technology based companies. Sarah is excited to bring this breadth of knowledge to assist Humanitae and their associated communities succeed.
In her off time, Sarah enjoys costuming, restoration, and collecting one-too-many rescue animals at her rural PNW property.

Robin Ellis
Principal, Knowledge Strategy & Design
Robin is a higher education transformation leader and strategic advisor with more than two decades of experience working across philanthropy, national associations, research institutions, and public sector organizations. Her work focuses on helping funders, intermediaries, and institutions translate complex reform agendas into coherent strategies, practical tools, and sustained systems change.
Robin brings deep expertise in institutional transformation, equity-centered reform, and the design and stewardship of large-scale initiatives. She has led and advised multi-million-dollar national portfolios, supporting colleges, universities, and state systems as they redesign student success strategies and strengthen organizational capacity. Her leadership spans executive roles at national higher education associations, consulting engagements with philanthropic organizations, and senior research and grants administration positions within public universities.

Steffi Krause
Project Director
Steffi Krause, PhD, is a strategic leader and project director specializing in advancing equity-focused philanthropy, higher education transformation, and lifelong learning. She currently serves as Project Director at Humanitae Advisors, where she leads cross-sector initiatives that strengthen governance, program design, and operational excellence.
Steffi built deep expertise in research, program management, and curriculum design across international higher education and learning environments. She combines analytical rigor, human-centered design, and practical implementation experience in her partnerships with nonprofits, funders, and educational organizations and is working to create more equitable systems of learning and opportunity.

Todd Moudy
Technology Director
With a passion for innovative digital technology, Todd brings with him twenty years of experience as an IT consultant specializing in designing and deploying cloud-based solutions. He has consulted for a wide variety of companies in the legal, financial, manufacturing, healthcare, and tech industries, as well as a number of nonprofit organizations. He is dedicated to ensuring that Humanitae and their partners have access to the technical infrastructure needed for success.
When out-of-office Todd enjoys drumming, playing rugby, and raising various furry quadrupeds.

Tiffany Polite
Principal, Learning & Innovation
Dr. Tiffany Polite brings over a decade of expertise in innovation, program development, and organizational leadership to her work with higher education, philanthropic, and social impact organizations seeking to address longstanding equity challenges. Her practice centers the role of institutions and systems in both perpetuating and dismantling inequities, emphasizing intentionality and sensemaking in the design of adaptive systems and forward-thinking practices and policies that facilitate change for more equitable futures.
Tiffany helps partners build capacity for meaningful, sustainable change through a transdisciplinary approach rooted in cultural intelligence, systems thinking, strategic foresight, human-centered design, and inclusive excellence. She earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University. She is a Certified Strategic Foresight Practitioner and an Impact Philanthropy Advisor.

Stefanie Sanford
President, Civic Ventures
Stefanie leads efforts to improve civic knowledge and engagement, transcend polarization, and animate spirited and effective conversation across difference in multiple contexts and policy areas. She brings decades of experience in philanthropy, education policy, and government, including leadership roles at the College Board and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
A fifth generation Texan, she began her career in the Texas state capitol working in both Republican and Democratic administrations before being selected as a White House Fellow, serving in the Office of Cabinet Affairs. Stefanie chairs the Board of Trustees for the Institute for Citizens & Scholars and contributes to various organizations focused on civic empowerment, education and collective impact.
An accomplished writer, moderator and speaker, she is author of the book “Civic Life in the Information Age: Politics, Technology and Generation X” based on her dissertation research.
