Questions or concerns? Reading this privacy notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have any questions or concerns, please contact us at info@humanitae.org.

  1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We automatically collect certain information through cookies when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

The information we collect includes:

  1. Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity in the Services (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimes called “crash dumps”), and hardware settings).
  2. Device Data. We collect device data such as information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the Services. Depending on the device used, this device data may include information such as your IP address (or proxy server), device and application identification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model, Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, operating system, and system configuration information.
  3. Location Data. We collect location data such as information about your device’s location, which can be either precise or imprecise. How much information we collect depends on the type and settings of the device you use to access the Services. For example, we may use GPS and other technologies to collect geolocation data that tells us your current location (based on your IP address). You can opt out of allowing us to collect this information either by refusing access to the information or by disabling your Location setting on your device.

  1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

  1. WHY DO WE USE COOKIES?

We use cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Websites to operate, and we refer to these as “essential” cookies. Other third parties serve cookies through our Websites for analytics purposes, enabling us to track the behavior of our users. This is described in more detail below.

  1. WHAT COOKIES DO WE USE?

Essential cookies:

  1. PHP Session ID. This is a general-purpose identifier — a randomly generated number, used to maintain settings for a user between pages, such as whether a popup was left open or closed.

Third-party cookies:

  1. Google Analytics cookies. Used to collect non-personally identifiable information such as browser type and geographic Region for traffic analysis purposes. View Service Privacy Policy
  2. YouTube cookies. Used to collect non-personally identifiable information about users interacting with embedded videos on the Websites. View Service Privacy Policy

  1. HOW DO I OPT OUT?

Most Web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies. The following links have information about how to manage cookies on the most popular browsers:

  1. Chrome
  2. Safari
  3. Edge
  4. Firefox
  5. Opera

  1. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

To identify usage trends. We process information about how you use our Services to better understand how they are being used so we can improve them.

  1. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION?

We may need to share your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our assets to another organization.

  1. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We will only keep your information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

  1. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your information, transmission of information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

10.DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services.

  1. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

  1. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. We encourage you to review this privacy notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
